The Observatory was created by Prof. Micheel Ferrary, Professor of Management at the University of Geneva and Affiliated Professor at SKEMA Business School. He is also a member of the Haut Conseil à l'Egalité entre les Femmes et les Hommes.

The objectives of the SKEMA Observatory on Corporate Feminisation:

  • Take an overview of the feminisation of the workforce and management of major French companies
  • Factors explaining the feminisation of large companies
  • Analyze the relationship between feminisation and company performance
  • Analytical elements for socially responsible investment

His research on Corporate Feminisation is regularly cited in French newspapers (Le Monde, L'Express, Les Echos, TF1, France 3, BFM TV, RMC…) and abroad (Financial Times, Washington Post, Business Week, BBC,...)

He has worked on issues of diversity and organizational performance for companies such as Accenture, Kering, Mazars, Engie, EMC, Credit Suisse, UBS, Walt Disney,… as well as government departments such as the Minstry of Defense, the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Swiss Confederation and the Canton of Geneva…
